Welcome to the website of the Hellgate High School Band Program.

The Hellgate Symphonic Winds performed at the MENC All-Northwest Conference on Feburary 14th 2009. We were proud to premier the latest composition of composer John O'Reilly, "Montana Visions".

The Hellgate High School Band has a proud tradition of marching, concert and jazz band performance.

We've marched the Tournament of Roses Parade in 1978, 1984, 1987, 1990 and 2005

We've performed in the Cotton Bowl Parade in 1981 and the Fiesta Bowl Parade in 1992, 1995 and 1999.

We've also performed in the Holiday Bowl Parade of 2001 where we were selected at the Holiday Bowl Festival Sweepstakes winner taking 1st Place in Concert Band and Jazz Band performances.

In 2008, the Hellgate Band traveled to Orlando, Florida to perform at Festival Disney. The Symphonic Band earned a Superior Rating from the judges. The Jazz Band was selected as the Outstanding Band of the Festival.

Five Hellgate Band Musicians participated in the 2009 All-Northwest Honor Band at the MENC All-Northwest Conference in Spokane.

Every Hellgate Concert Band received a "Superior" rating in concert performance and sight reading at this year's District II Music Festival.
