Welcome to the website of the Hellgate High School Band Program.

The Hellgate High School Band has a proud tradition of marching, concert and jazz band performance.

We've marched the Tournament of Roses Parade in 1978, 1984, 1987, 1990 and 2005

We've performed in the Fiesta Bowl Parade in 1992, 1995 and 1999.

We've also performed in the Holiday Bowl Parade of 2001 where we were selected at the Holiday Bowl Festival Sweepstakes winner taking 1st Place in Concert Band and Jazz Band performances.

In 2008, the Hellgate Band traveled to Orlando, Florida to perform at Festival Disney. The Symphonic Band earned a Superior Rating from the judges. The Jazz Band was selected as the Outstanding Band of the Festival.

In Fall 2008 the Hellgate Symphonic Winds were selected to perform at the MENC All-Northwest Conference. They commissioned and performed the World Premier of Montana Visions by composer John O'Reilly.

13 Hellgate Band Musicians have been selected to participate in the 2010 Montana All-State Band and Orchestra Winds at the Montana Music Education Convention this October in Missoula, Montana. 4 others have been selected as Alternates. Congratulations!

In March 2011 the Hellgate Bands will be traveling to Honolulu, HI to participate in the Honolulu Festival. The Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble will perform in the Concert Band portion of this festival and then will join forces to march downtown Honolulu in the Parade of Bands.
